SONY KDL-V32XBR1 turns off after a few seconds

when i first got this TV, it worked fine for a couple of days, though after so many hours, it would turn itself off, but if u turned it on again it would work again for another many hours...
eventually though, the time between failures became less and less, and now it only works for a few minutes, or a few seconds before turning itself off.

when plugged in but not turned on, there is no standby light.
when power is pressed a green light comes on and the tv comes on.
after a few minutes or a few seconds the screen turns off and a red light blinks 4 times over and over again.
when power is pressed again, the light turns green and the set turns on for a second or two, then back to off and the red light blinks 4 times.
if i turn the tv off before it turns itself off, i do not get any blinking lights, or standby light ( i think it doesnt do a red light for standby)

just starting on this one...will do some more testing tomorrow

oh wow i found the service manual and it says 4 blinks means a fan error. no big deal i just wait for it to shut down and see which fan is failing? all the fans seem fine...could there be something wrong with the sensor, or with the part that sends power to the fans?

ok after messing with it for a while ive discovered which fan is acting up. the middle one refused to start. i switched connectors with the one next to it and it still wouldnt start. i took it out and tried to find another fan like it, couldnt find one.. started messing with the blades and wires...decided to put it back in, and now it works again... its probably going to mess up again before too long.. what can i do to refurbish this fan? or if i have to replace it, can i use just any case fan? this one has 3 wires...red, yellow, and black. im guessing black is ground. red must be the power because thats 6v and yellow must be the sensing signal that tells the computer whether the fan is spinning or not? anyway the yellow wire on the 2 fans that are fine read .01v and .02v but the yellow wire on the fan in question reads .29 ... whats going on there?

Insignia NS-LCD019-09 issue: Power light turns blue for 3 seconds, the flashes red before going solid read again
          by cajoeg
Hello, I'm new to the group and to trying to repair a LCD TV. During the past few years, I've been collecting/repairing/restoring vintage personal computers (Commodore, Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, Texas Instruments, and Timex Sinclair). This has been my retirement hobby. Now I've gotten interested in trying to repair a LCD TV that I have and used regularly when working on vintage computers.

The LCD I'm working on is a Insignia NS-LCD019. I've downloaded the service manual that I could find, but it must be a different revision since not too many items in the service manual match the TV...

Lenovo Legion 5 high fan spin turns off after 34 seconds
          by twonk9098
          Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
          by Rick_1234
          Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

High Pressure Sodium Yard light when air conditioner turns light momentarily turns of
          by sam_sam_sam
I have had these 70 watt high pressure sodium yard lights for many years now probably at least 15 years or more and there is a protection diode that after several years starts to go bad and when it does this it has momentarily shutting down the light and then a few minutes later it starts working again

This about the forth time I have fixed this one and you can tell if it the diode or not if it lights up and it only shuts down when the air conditioner turns on then it is the diode

If it cycling on and off constantly then it is the bulb itself that is the issue
