    Panasonic TH-42PY80 10 blinks

    Hi guys

    10 blinks on this one.
Caps on MC201 and MC301 already changed.
15V present, so are all sub voltages on A board.
Vsus is not coming at all after i press the power button. I tried with replacing MC201 and MC301 places as they are interchangable but problem stayed the same - 15V OK, no Vsus so i would rule those out as being problem?
I isolated SC and SS board, but Vsus not coming up, not even for a second, not a single V.
Thermal fuse on Vsus transformer isn't open, unfortunately

I assume it is something on P board, Vsus section?

this might be a long shot but try disconnecting A5,A6,A7 and turn TV on and see if you get white screen.

Tried that, but no white screen, it simply doesn't power screen on, i assume it is because there is no Vsus present, but i am not 100% sure

sounds definitely PSU issue, was going to suggest thremal fuse but you've tried that too.

Do the fans on your set start spinning at all?

They aren't shorted, and all fuses on P board are ok, not open

Can anyone confirm me that Vsus should arise when i press switch button, same as 15V come right up? Vda not present to (altough i read somwhere that it won't if Vsus is missing). Don't know if i should concentrate on something else or i'm on the right track

                  OK, fixed it

Vsus was not coming on so I was checking every bit in that section and everything looked OK. Only thing that was missing is SUS_ON signal from MC701. Removed it from PSU and only thing that i could tell is poor soldering of IC on that module (CH47AUG-7A18) and maybe even some corrosion. Resoldered it, put it back on PSU and now Vsus came on. But still no Vda - and again everything was leading to that module (Vda_ON missing). Took it of again, resoldered IC, checked with magnifier, put it back on and voila - TV turned on
So another one PY (PZ) series with non common fault ended at my place, no easy fixes for me

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

                    Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
                    by jm1234
                    Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Panasonic TC-P42S60 Plasma, how to check Vsus
                    by Buzztv
                    Hi,
This is my first post in attempting to keep my beloved 2013 Panasonic plasma tv going.
About 6 weeks ago the tv was turned on but then immediately shut off. There was no recent power surge or popping noise or any other symptom.
I checked all of the obvious things and decided to try a replacement power supply board (PSS in Panasonic lingo).
I would like to check the Vsus but this is one of the final models and at that point Panasonic did not indicate the Vsus and Vad voltages inside the chassis. It looks like they were discouraging people from making adjustments....

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
                    by Alicat
                    Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                    Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Looking for assistance troubleshooting a Panasonic TC-P65ZT60 with 3 LED Fast Blinks
                    by CrewmanRedShirt
                    Hello all,
As the title states, I followed the troubleshooting guide located here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/23...page=53#manual, which concluded the 'A' board needs to be replaced. Looking around the net and eBay, I see that there are repair services for the board (TNPH1043UE? Not sure if it is a 'UE' as the suffix grid does not appear marked). What additional troubleshooting can be performed to ensure 1) this board is the problem and 2) since there are repair services, what are they fixing on the board?) I expected 3.3V not to be available anywhere...
