Re: What type of gloves to not get electrocuted?
Best type would be esd gloves dont use the thick type as they are too clunky and hard to work with and be careful with the thin types as well because they get frayed and torn easy if you scrape them across solder joints they are fairly cheap, but you must be careful with them.Last edited by ReeceyBurger123; 08-26-2014, 12:03 PM.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: What type of gloves to not get electrocuted?
Yes, they are.
Why where you changing a logic board when the set was live?
Gloves will not save you. You should be safe around electronics. It is your LIFE at risk, you've only got one of them, not worth it for a TV!
An aside, "electrocuted" is death from electric shock; you probably experienced an electric shock instead. (Unless you're typing this from behind the pearly gates.)Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Just be aware of he risks being shocked hurts, I was never aware that they were internally conductive as the little pads (for the esd) are only on the outside of the glove but I have never handled a live product with the gloves on thanks for the warningPlease Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. by electronxHi everyone,
I’m currently learning about the USB protocol and designing a project, but I’ve encountered a few questions that I couldn’t find clear answers to. I’d really appreciate your input!
1. USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 with SuperSpeed Type-A Connector
According to the USB 3.2 specification, it states that USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 can support a SuperSpeed Type-A connector. This raises a question:
If we use a SuperSpeed Type-A connector, the system would only utilize 1 lane for data transfer, leaving 1 lane from the host unused. Is this configuration valid,...06-26-2025, 03:27 AM - Loading...
