After changing the D board, have returned it and put the old board back in now it still trips out but there is no screen light at all.

have voltages been checked on SC. used paint, part of a line is missing, sure you can figure it out. block diagram, pin 12 SC20 is the 2 blink output

Thanks for the reply, this fault started has a 2 blink, then changed to 12 blinks which is what it is now and have checked lots of voltages but have not found any problem and at one time was coming on for some time but no sound and could only get PC video. So if you have any info on 12 blinks, help would be appreciated. Have checked the speakers and voltages.

On these older Panasonic sets the audio amplifier is on a separate PCB, have you made sure that is fully seated and all connections in, if you have been fiddling with the set it could come loose.

Tom66 if you see info on 20, says that if I remove plug D3 the power stays on but have changed both board at each end of the connectors, still get the same problem. You still think it is the audio ??

Does anyone know a procedure for finding the problem, when the power light is blinking 122 times

Sorry, the above should have been 12 times

                      Hi everyone.

                      I have a HP Elitebook 850 G8.
                      Serial: 5CG2324XM0
                      ProdID 6L8D5EC#ABA
It has a Winbond W25Q256JVEN Chip.

I need to remove BIOS Password.

I made a dump with an CHA341A programmer and NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10.

                      Attached my dump.

I also used the HP Unlocker tool to create an unlocked file (I followed the guidelines)

I also downloaded latest HP BIOS Update (SP158137) which includes 3 .bin files. I found the Number T76 in my original dump, so I used: T76_01210000.bin

                      Panasonic SA-MAX770PU SMPSU board fault....
                      by Rictech
                      Hello everyone. 😀

As per thread title, this unit has a serious SMPSU fault. It blows F1001, which is a 10A M205 in the phase from the mains input.
Very first thing I tried, was simply replacing the fuse, but the replacement ceramic fuse blew immediately.

Looking at the schematic for this PSU, I then removed what I thought was the next likely candidate: D1001 - the HV main bridge rectifier.
This isolated the fault(no longer blows the main fuse), but does not point me to the actual fault.
There are no devices that have exploded or otherwise show signs...

Sony XBR-75X940E intermittent 6 blinks error code
                      by GoodCapDude
Hi everyone. First post on Badcaps!

I am trying to fix a Sony 940E from 2017 that either starts normally (and works perfectly until turned off) or goes straight to the 6 blinks error code without showing anything on the screen. It is frustrating to know that it can still work perfectly but is barely usable because of the difficulty starting it up. I am willing to try to short the BL_ERR but I would like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have a view on this? Thanks a lot....

Panasonic AG-1000B VHS player with bad picture quality
                      by FZG
                      Hello!

I recently got an old VHS player from Panasonic and just for fun I want to try to repair this device. It is an AG-1000B portable VHS player from 1990 and it has a problem with picture quality in playback mode.

Picture in playback mode is very noisy and often loses sync but the still images are nearly perfect.

I want to know, is this something that could be solved by recapping or is the video head likely gone?

                      Also, what mechanism is this?

                      Any feedback is appreciated!...
