Hi any update on this problem i'am also having the same problem, same tv model.

i had a led tv,with no back light,but sound and dark picture,everything checked out ok so,took the screen out to look at the leds,switched on the leds went dim then off,found 1 led not lighting up,this was why no back light,took the broken led off the strip and bridged the gap on contacts with solder,put back together and switched on,,,,,.,.daughter is now watching the tv,cant tell there is 1 led missing.....
