bush,lt32 mica.no power
the tv was working,then went off,no standby light on,took out the power board and checked all the caps with a cap meter,all ok,have 250volts on main cap,no voltages on the 5 volt,12 volt and 24 volt outputs,any help please,the power board is a 715 t2804-2.... -
toshiba 50l4353d tv picture fault
the tv turns on and works,but the screen 3/4 of the way up gose blury then flicks back to being ok,could this be the screen naffed or the t-con board,will upload pics when i get back home. -

did daughters a while back,got one led out,all i did was to bridge the led gap with solder,worked fine ,lights now on,still going. -

i had a led tv,with no back light,but sound and dark picture,everything checked out ok so,took the screen out to look at the leds,switched on the leds went dim then off,found 1 led not lighting up,this was why no back light,took the broken led off the strip and bridged the gap on contacts with solder,put back together and switched on,,,,,.,.daughter is now watching the tv,cant tell there is 1 led missing.....Leave a comment:

yes it was a bad led,only one,so nothing to loose i took it off,took one off a strip i had and,it melted lol,so i bridged the gap with solder,put back together and switched on,hay presto the picture is now ok,back light is on,cant tell that one has gone.Leave a comment:

put the new caps in and still same,no back light,took the screen out,when switching on the leds start to come on then go dim then off.Leave a comment:

checked the voltage,on standby-33.8 v,when switched on-41.4v,no rise or drop in voltage.Leave a comment:

tv will switch on and is working but,after about 15 to 45 mins the back light will go off.i have pulled the caps out [in red on pic] and checked with a cap meter,all within range,now can one of the caps go bad with heat turning the light off,leave the tv off till cool and will come back on again,have ordered new caps,is there anything that i can check that may have some bearing on the prob.the caps in red are for the inverter....Last edited by no idea; 03-25-2015, 06:46 AM. -

hi all,just found this forum by chance,looks great,may just be able to swell my gray matter a bit,right my name is steve,from sheffield uk,been messing with these lcd/led tvs for a bit now,and they still stump me,so hope to pick some better gray matter than mine,that wont be hard to do by the look of the forum,anyway thanks for havin me.......................Leave a comment:
