I have a Samsung TV 65" 2021 with One Connectbox SOC4002A BN64-04592A. The display simply turned off during operation, but the sound is still working!

Turn the lights out if you can, turn the TV on and get the sound rolling. Take a flashlight to the screen very close and move it around to see if you can see a picture at all.

Unless the screen lights up with no picture.. then you don't need to do it. Tell us what happens

Can you measure the box? Or what would be best?

Testing the backlights. Likely has nothing to do with the one connect box. I use an LED tester. Generally on a Samsung TV you disconnect the main board connector from the Power supply and it will turn the lights on .. but I can't remember if it works on the one connect box tvs.

This is a mini led tv though? If the LEDs are bad then you are screwed. I believe these have a led driver boards? Best bet is take off the back and take a picture for us

Edit, not sure testing the leds will help here with mini led tv. I've never had an opportunity to test ones LEDs.. I do know that your aren't going to be able to replace them though. Maybe you could jump a bad led or something..

So I have now taken it off the wall and opened it on the floor.Which board is responsible for what? I was hoping I'd see a defective capacitor ;-)

Ok the green is the LED Driver

                  The 10A Fuse is ok.

I just bought this LED driver for €40. There aren't many other options. https://www.ebay.de/itm/276874453944

I have no idea.. Samsung is always innovating their high end tvs and it makes them much harder to diagnose. Appears they did away with the PSU and are relying on the one connect box now.

guess you'll find out soon if it's the led driver lol

I measured the four thick pins from the connector to the TV. Pin 1 has 61 volts, pin 2 has 16.7 volts, pin 3 has 0 volts, and pin 4 has 0 volts! Can anyone tell me if this is OK? I read something about 300 volts! Or can someone give me a schematic? Or has anyone already measured their One Connectbox? Thanks.

Unplug one out of eight white ribbon cables from LED driver to the screen and turn on the TV. If there is no difference, plug it back in and unplug another one.
If there is no difference, continue like that until you find backlight panel which is shorted, then TV will turn on with only portion of the screen black, rest of the screen will have backlight ok.

                                Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

                                Symptom:
                                No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                                No sound at all.

                                What I tried:
                                1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound

                                Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...
