    42LK450 Similar Problem White Wash

42LK450. I've read that it's probably the mainboard on the tv. I've attached pics. But my real problem is that I cannot get the service menu up. There is no menu button on the tv or the remote. They call it home. But holding both still doesn't give me the service menu. Ideas on the tv and the service menu?

It looks like bad Gamma voltages on the T-CON board.

As usual thanks budm. I read other post and they thought it was the mainboard. I'll order a tcon and see what happens. They are cheap enough.

You can check the gamma voltages first to be sure...

Thanks Tom66. I ordered a T-Con for $8.00 shipped. I'll test the voltages tonight anyways.

              I know right!? I thought my 13.95 + 4.00 shipping was cheap for a 2012 panel!

I hope it a good working board, last one I took a chance and bought from EBAY was defective, they gave me full refund without having me sending back the old one, they must have known it was not tested even though it shows in the description as tested and function.

I have had decent luck with most Ebay parts, this one came from a place that I have bought from before so it should be good. If not they do take returns
