Toshiba 32AV700E display distorted

Hi,

I have the above mentioned 32" LCD mode tv with a distorted image as in the attachment?

Would like to know what is the most likely cause of the distorted image?
TCON board or LCD panel or other components or PC board?

What else I can do to troubleshoot this defect?

Looks like a damaged panel to me but you could try reseating or wiggling the
cable from the tcon to the panel to see if it gets better/worse.

Looks like someone's pressed really hard in parts of the panel. Maybe they haven't cracked it but it's still bad. I think the panel is dead.
