I've been asked about a Panasonic TX-P42G30E which supposedly has very high amount if violet pixels after start. They get normal when the TV warms up. I would say something like ribbon cold joint or maybe some TCon processor?

Re: Violet pixels
If I had the TV, I would of course opened it and checked the caps already with ESR meter. The point was to discover if it may be a thing I can even repair. Otherwise there is no point dragging the TV to me over a long distance and me wasting the time with it…Less jewellery, more gold into electrotech industry!Half of the computer problems is caused by bad contacts

Re: Violet pixels
Age on the Pdp, so increasing Vs means the panel pixels can discharge better/faster. With lower Vs they dont discharge properly and you get distortions like that when the panel ages, the gases become harder to light. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only.
