I had a JVC LT-32DA30J in as a freebie from a tech who's since given up. It had the common blown PSU issue, so a new PSU was acquired. But the TV did not work with the new PSU. The power light blinks a few times, but nothing else happens.
The problem is, the old PSU didn't have S814 installed, but the newer one did... this shorts the 5V STBY & 3.3V STBY together. Luckily, no damage is done, the TV just doesn't work. Removed it and it fired up first time with a good pictu... well, it's Vestel-like image quality, but anyway...
Two Vestel's fixed in one day, not too bad.
