Do you know it's a firmware issue? Do you need help trying to diagnose? If so what are your symptoms, maybe someone can help but definitely need more information. -
The issue with these sets is the TV gets stuck in standby until you power cycle the TV. This is down to firmware which there is a German site which has the download links for all these Toshiba sets.
If you searched on this site you would have found it!
