fault with Sony LCD TV

hi guys bought this tv off someone and switched on to find it displaying most of the screen properly, i have attached video link to show fault, less than 2 minutes after taking this video meaning the tv would have only been switched on for less than 3-4 minutes the screen went normal but then after another few minutes is flickers lines horizontly as if the fault is trying to come back

any ideas ? faulty panel ?

Dead/faulty panel.
I've never fixed a horizontal band panel failure with tab shims and haven't heard of anyone else succeeding either.

if the board that mounts to the lcd glass is on the bottom of the screen panel, then it probably has a side tab and not enough power is getting through that tab to get to the top of the screen because the tab is losing contact at the lcd glass side.

if the board is on top of the screen, then a tab bond shim might work for a bit

Would have to open it to get a better idea
