So I have had this Dynex for a while that displays picture and sound but has a red or pint tint to the whole picture. I tried looking up the cause of this but I couldn't find an answer. I have a feeling bad panel but I wanted to get some opinions. I don't have a pict of it right now but I will get one here in a day or so.

I was wondering about that. That was some of the info I found. I tore it down and it has two bulbs in it. And they are U shaped bulbs. I don't remember if both fired up but they must have because the screen wasn't partially lit. I don't even know how to go by ordering a replacement one.Comment

The one I had all bulbs lit up but one was only partially lit
I suppose it could also be power problem (underpowered)
but who knows I trashed that tv for parts and did not attampt repairesComment

So funny thing is. I went to work on it today. The tv was already apart and I hooked it up to check and see if there was any problem with one f the bulbs to cause the pink tint. Hook it up and turn on bulbs look like their at the same brightness. So I hook up the cable to the lcd screen for picture. And no signal comes up and I hit menu and it's not red or pink tint. Hmmm. So I move all the parts to a cable hook up and turn it on. Picture is perfect. No problems at all. Weird eh.Comment

I got this monitor, which works perfectly fine, except there is pink discoloration over right side of the screen ( picture1 ). When I disconnect LVDS cable, there is no sign of pink color, so its not backlight issue ( picture2 ). I took a closer picture of the upper right corner, you can see even some kind of pixel defects. Its only on that pink area ( picture3 ).
I believe, there is some problem inside the panel, the question is, if it is fixable. I have never met this kind of issue, so I really appreciate little help from you guys. What I tried so far - interrupt...08-17-2023, 11:45 PM -
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... -
Hi have problem with 4 reds blink take lot help that forum and tell me change led strips and all going very good tv alive now but in down left have pink tint little and see only in white pages what wrong doing? -
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
