Re: Panasonic TC-P50G25 10 blinking light failure.
ive got a panasonic viera i picked up for cheap & repaird even cheaper, had the 10 light blinking blah blah , its the 15v rail fault i belive (dont quote me) theres a little chip on the board for the 15v rail i cant remember off hand but you remove a 1uf smd cap and then the tv should fire up again http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/...IMG_3251-2.jpg thats a picture of what you may be looking for if you own a plasma, get some freeze spray ( i used butane) crazy i know but i blew away the flamable gas anyway that worked for me to remove the tiney capacitor and tv worked fine there is 2 of them on the power supply board, posting pics of your boards would help alot more.

Re: Panasonic TC-P50G25 10 blinking light failure.
TV is just over 3 years old. Was going to bed and turned off TV using the power button on the TV and it made an unusual noise. Did not try to turn on tv till the morning and it gave the 10 bliking lights. I have gone through the technical guide for this series and have checked for the shorts.
P11 - pin 1 - 1.4 kohms
p11 - pin 4 - 13 kohms
p35 - pin 1 - 20 kohms
I also followed the flow chart to diagnose 10 blink failure which after checking for shorts says to disconnect SC20 and powered up tv and I still had 10 blinking lights which suggest to replace A board.
Does this seem like the proper conclusion or am I missing anything?
Thanks,
Eric.
before you race off and get an A-board I would disconnect SC2 and measure the resistance across those pins at SC2.
P11 pin 1 is Vsus and should be much greater than 1.4k, I get 1 Mohms on my Tv.
disconnect SC2 and redo the resistance check with p11 connected to SS11.
You could also check the transistors on the SC mounted on the heatsinks for short. Q661 is one that normally goes bang along with others.
Bad SC is a common failure and can cause SOS 4 & 10.Leave a comment:

by riparoHi everyone, I have a Panasonic OLED TV model 55EZ950E, as soon as I turn it on I don't have any image the LED goes from green to red LED blinking every 4 sec, I found the service manual suggests checking OLED PANEL, PB BOARD, T-CON connectors but it seems like everything ok, I didn't find any burns under the pb board
I attach a link to download the service manual, thank you for anyone who can help me

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by ItepKHey everyone!
I've gotten this TV for free, neither have it seen a TV repair man, neither have it been opened before.
This post describes my entire troubleshooting process of this TV.
When I turn it on using the ON/OFF switch at the side of the TV, the light rapidly flashes green, then it stays on, but it does not react to any of the remote buttons, side buttons, and doesn't play audio.
I've taken the unit apart, and I've started to check some voltages:
- On the P11 connector, there is 15V DC only for a brief moment, then it goes

by TofHello everyone, here is the issue I am facing with my Panasonic Oled TX-65FZ800e.
When the TV has not be used for some hours, I power up the TV with a video input and the image is displayed perfectly for 30seconds and then the TV switch off with the red light blinking every 4 seconds for ever.
The service manual explanation: EVDD_SOS (EVDD 24V error) with check point (oled panel, P board, A board, T-CON)
I opened it and found a burned connector on PB-board on the 24V pins.
The 24V wires have change a bit of color due to the overheat and the corresponding... -
by itachiHello good people, I have another unit here which is giving me problems. Upon plugging the unit it, after a few seconds the front LED will start blinking 3 times in a row and repeating indefinitely. No image or sound.
The first thing I checked was the backlight. It's a single vertical strip on one side of the panel which has 8 groups of 7 LEDs. (Part #V500D2-LS1-TREM3) I used a backlight tester and each group lit up without issue.
The standby 5.3V is good, the 16V and 24V from the PSU board both come up for a few seconds while the TV_SUB_ON signal is high. Both 16V and... - Loading...
