    Samsung UN65KU6290F fails again

Samsung UN65KU6290F- this is the Buy Nothing TV that I received several years ago and just got around to fixing last December. The board had a failed MOSFET and dual diode and would blow the fuse the instant power was applied. Replaced both MOSFET's and that dual diode in that part of the supply and it stared workign again. Now, 6 months later, it developed a screen problem overnight. Last night it was working fine, then this morning I have a bunch of random vertical lines. Sound works and you can tell that you are changing channels, you just can't really see anyting on the screen. It's been on for 15-20 minutes and hasn't changed. Turning it on and off also does not change this condition. Also noticed that the power LED on the bottom right kind of flickers now as it turns on. I don't remember what it did when the set was workign but it wasn't that flicker. Screen is not cracked or broken physically in any way.

Haven't even opened it up yet, just looking for some ideas.

(EDIT: just as I posted this, my 10 year old walked in the room and said. "Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?" [it's a line from the U.K. tv show "The IT Crowd"]. At that point, I had only power cycled it. I pulled the cord out of the back, gave it a two count, then plugged it back in. It started working agin! Any ideas as to why that worked and if it will happen again?)

Error in software maybe. Could be anything, but let's hope it just carries on well.

i think it must be reballed the main SoC, especially if it includes tcon function... (edited by admin - please keep posts polite)
