E550vl goes orange to white, out back to orange

I just replaced the Power board on this tv because all it would do was click and the logo would flash orange and off. Now the logo will come on orange and stay on. When I press power you can hear the relay click, the logo goes to white just long enough to tell its white, and then it goes black and goes back to orange. There are no backlights coming on at all. Could this be the eeprom error? Is the only fix a new mainboard? Any help would be appreciated.

Update:
Eventually I got the screen to come on by testing around the mainboard. The Picture comes on now but it has no audio from tuner input or the a/v input. I tested the speakers and they both tested a little under 8 ohms which I assume is good. Is there a common failure on the audio? This TV is really insane. There are about 6 black discs with the number 220 on them that go in a fitting that looks like something for a watch battery. Are these some kind of resistors and could this be the faulty parts? 4 are located close to the audio speaker connector. There is also a silver piece that is round and cylindrical like a common capacitor that has a faint imprint of an X. It has N3 470E CD printed on the top. It looks like it would just pull out because it has a black plastic base. Did not remove the main to look underneath but I cannot find on the web what this piece is.

Not sure if you're active here anymore, but did you ever get this figured out?
I have the same TV with a similar initial problem that I'm still testing.
When I plug in the TV, it immediately starts blinking on and off repeatedly with associated loud clicking. logo flashing on and off, but no display on screen.
Anyways, I'm not looking to take up any of your time, but I was just wondering if you would be able to reply with a final diagnosis/solution from your last post.
