It seems like my tv is exhibiting similar symptoms. I have backlight when only the power supply is connected, but I didn't test much further.
The main board is slightly different (BN94-12402R) although it is stamped the exact same...
Board is stamped:
MODEL: KANT_M_BUILT_IN
CODE: BN41-02568B
MODEL: BN41-02568

I wonder if flashing the EEPROM will work on my board as well? If so, is someone able to provide the flash file for for me?

when trying to write the status registers S9/QE is greyed out in Asprogrammer so register 2 is set to 40 instead of 42. Will that be an issue?

If there is a problem, change the program to NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10
In Asprogrammer the problem is in these status reg.

Ok neoprogrammer worked, but same symptoms.

I will remove the IC and attempt again:
Is this the correct sequence?
-Clear flash
-write 0 to status registers
-write fixed flash
-write 0x88 and 0x42 to status

1. First you need to delete all status registers (uncheck all the boxes and click "Write")
2. Erase the chip.
3. Write down the corrected dump and check what was written down.
4. Set the status register (0x88, 0x42), check the boxes and click "Write"
5. Everything is ready, solder the chip in place....
