Hi, this TV is from the PUG series, had no image, upon using tape to cover the pins on the right side(from the back), it displays only vertical bands that fade away slowly, classic problem with the horizontal part.
There is no short I could find on the panel, when disconnecting any major voltage such as VGH, the T-Con stops pulling down all voltages and I can measure what they should be.
I tried to use an external power supply in place of VGH, as soon as I turned on the tv displayed proper image and then instantly started to fade, T-Con shut down all voltages, it is sensing as if there's some sort of overcurrent.
In the images there is a bit of a mess with soldering but the only change to the board is a disconnected 0 OHM resistor that linked VGH to the panel.
The brand is "CHOT", and as you can see, the panel is CHOT.
VSS1 = -7V
VGL = -8.5V
L_VAA R_VAA = 15.5V
VGH = 27.94V
So far I only tried externally supplying VAA and VGH, same results, tcon shuts down.
