hi guys got this model but the colours seem bright plus on the right hand side of the screen when the images change they seem to take ages and the original image is still there when it changes

possible tcon fault ?

I have a V3000 with the same issue, I fixed it by using soft yet quite stiff thermal pads cut to the length and thickness I needed, these were from a busted T-con card. As Tom66 has said, very much a hit and miss affair with mine sometimes needing to either warm up for five minutes or a mild twist to get it working properly, stays fine once on and been over a month now.

T-con and main are worth a bit. Crazy how many of these are dying. I think I'll replace the one at parent's house with a Panasonic PZ80 plasma soon. It's near on 6 years old. I got it at 4 years old with bad caps. PZ80 have damn good reliability apart from 10 blinks fault, easily fixed.

It's a shame really tried in the past to fix tab bonds but I think the longest I've had is 1 week with a 42lg3000 before it came back
So stripping as we speak

I've had some luck with ChiMei 26" V260B1 panels (4 of them): I had one that lasted 6 months+ and I eventually sold it and it hasn't come back. Also AUO 42" FHD panels seem to be OK, as used in LG 42LH3000. (Different from 42LG3000. )But Samsung panels just prove really tricky when presenting with this fault.
