    Sony kde-42xs955 No video

    Ok so I just bought this Sony Wega kde-42xs955 for $10.00 couldnt pass it up, there was no info on what was wrong only told that the screen doesnt turn on. When I got it home I plugged it in and it powers on with a flashing green led 11 times and the lights stay on like its good but the screen does not light up or come on. My question is where do i begin to find out whats wrong? I cannot find any bad caps or burned/chared components btw. I have attached pictures of the board.

      also i have tested the psu board with a multimeter and found all voltages to be correct, i am lost as for what todo next

          ok I believe I have narrowed it down to the Y-sus, How can I find out what to do to try and repair it, I have MMeter and Soldering Iron in hand!

              Does this TV have a Y-sustain? It looks like an LCD TV, not a plasma TV. Unless the main boards are under that cage. I suppose, PSU is quite big for an LCD.

                      I have aqquired one of these, and what mine does, it turns on and I get pix & sound for about 10 seconds. As soon as the fans start it shuts down with no error codes. Any ideas?

                          I have a Sony VAIO SVE1512E1E (motherboard da0hk5mb) video card is broken, has artifacts, I want to disable it, the processor is an I3-3110M that supposedly has an integrated Intel GPU and I want to disable the onboard Radeon so that can be used.

                          I download some schematics, and tried to remove VPL1, but then the laptop starts some leds, and shut off. Should I try to lift VPL1 and VPR47 and pass a cable to one tip of VPR47 and the other back to VPU1 to see if that works or it is pointless?
                          That seems to be some feedback to VPU1 and I guess if it does not detect voltage, laptop...

                          Hi,
                          I bought an all in one Sony Vaio VPCL22Z1E 3D version which does not show anything on the display, instead it works ok on the hdmi output (video and sound).
                          I tested with a flashlight and it seems that it does not display the image without backlight.
                          It doesn't make any sound in the built-in speakers and the headphone output has a very weak level.
                          As an observation, I use a 19.5V power supply with 120W and in the specifications the original one would have 180W.
                          Could this be the reason why it doesn't work properly?
                          Mainboard is V021_MP_3D_1.1 1P-0115J00-8011...

                          This is from my son’s gaming computer that at first had minor overheating issues when playing a very intense game with it causing the computer to crash or reboot

                          New to Audio equipment - I got this receiver, I connected speakers and I tried to connect to Bluetooth. My phone would not see the receiver (Receiver flashes the BT as if it's trying to pair). Then I put it on FM radio, I get white noise on the speakers.
