Re: Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
Greetings to all.
I'd just like to thank everyone on this thread. I just repair my faulty Panasonic tx-p50vt20e with your precious help. So I registered in order to say THANK YOU !!!
To sum up : at the begining tv sart to shut down more and more, randomly. Had to push start button one or several tomes to relaunch it. Then after a month or two tv did not turn on, even if i pushed the button. The front Led Light shine green many times quickly, then turn red, and blink 1 time every 3 seconds. just like Franck3y3 !
I replaced the d board tnp5149 by another one found on baybay for 48€ including shipping. And guess what ? It works ! Everything was quite easy to do.
One more time, hanks to everyone on this thread.
Cheers,
Mickey from Paris.

Re: Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
Hey guys, Tom and Tw,
Is something different been loaded in D-board when i've put it in 54VT25.
My question is, because i've took the D-board from the 50VT20 and put it in the 54VT25 to confirm the problem,
Now that the 50Vt20 D-board has loaded in the 54VT25,
When i put 50VT20 back in the 50VT20, is there anything else i should do.
Is something different loaded in the chip ?
Is the chip displaying like it should you think ?
Something else i need to do ?Last edited by Frank3y3; 01-21-2014, 08:47 PM.Leave a comment:

Is there a way to let people know '' Problem Solve '', so they know in the title that they can refer to this blog for help with the same problem.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
While i'm thinking about it, the guy at the repair shop, which Panasonic refered me to, told me the plasma Panel was short and a chip on a ribbon cable needed to be replace, which is impossible. I'm thinking about it, and they charge 50$ for a diagnose ( to find the problem ) and give your money back if you accept to pay for repair. Now, if i took me 3 days, let's say 36 hours, to find the problem, i suggest that, when the guy didn't find the problem after 2-3 hours, and was out of cash, let's say they are paid 15-20$/hour, he said, well, i'm not gonna spend 36 hours for 50$, right.
And he also could not tell me he didn't find the problem and simply give me my 50$ back, this is an autorized Panasonic shop for 150 km around. So he had to told me something like that i guess, i would probably told the clicent the same thing in the shop, but in private, which i didn't talk withm i would have told the clicent to look further.

So, are you going to fix 50VT20? You could have a very large bedroom TV..
And keep old board - just for spares.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
No, no no no, Tom
I've put back the original 50VT20 D-board in place, i didn't put the faulty D-board 54VT25 into the 50VT20, no no no.
i hope you understand this one correctly.
The D-board 50VT20 works now in the 50VT20 and solve the problem of SOS1 blink in the 54VT25, i hope my statements are clear.
Frank.
D-board in 54VT25 is good for garbage now.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
So the 54" D board which used to give 1-blink also works in 50"? Maybe 50" is less sensitive to a fault, seems odd though!Leave a comment:

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
Just for my own knowledge, i'll check my service manual and go over this stuff by time. Thanks again a bunch.......And i'm a continue to check these Forum at Badcaps. In fact, may others finaly replace the D-board in this case instead of the A-board. Y'all the guys Tom and Tw.
Let it know to all the Panasonic owners of VT series. There was the VT25, VT30,VT50,VT60 and now plasma HDTV are no longer gonna be a part of futureshop, bestbuy and name it. But don't lose faith, your TV may not be dead.

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 _1 Blinking Code
Here it is guys, you don't know how much I love y'all ( i think i may be a little to excited right now, but damn, we got it guys, thanks again ).
So thanks Tom66 and Thanks Tw2005 for you knowledge, informations, expreriences, time, patience and collaboration.
If I wasn't that far away, i would pay you a beer, a really nice cogniac ( Hennessy ) maybe Champange, nah, not maybe, it would be.
Here is me woth the 50VT20
So, finaly, it was the D-Board in the 54VT25 that was causing the problem, SOS1, red light blinking once every 3 seconds.
After replacing the D-Board with a 50VT20 the Tv powered on without any problem.
Before that, i had to turn on and off the TV sometimes 6 times, sometimes 24, or 35 or 2 and the Tv would finaly turned on, and when it was on the Tv could be on for 60 hours straight without any problems.
Right now I got 2 TV's fully fonctionnal, one hell of a happy guy here.

by riparoHi everyone, I have a Panasonic OLED TV model 55EZ950E, as soon as I turn it on I don't have any image the LED goes from green to red LED blinking every 4 sec, I found the service manual suggests checking OLED PANEL, PB BOARD, T-CON connectors but it seems like everything ok, I didn't find any burns under the pb board
I attach a link to download the service manual, thank you for anyone who can help me

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by olliec420Ok I screwed up big time and hoping I can fix. I will break down what happened and the images.
- Have Dell PowerEdge R730
- Bought Tesla P40
- Researched power cables and order correct one, pic had two black connectors in photos
- Power cable arrived, same connectors (EPS-12v) on both ends
Both sides are the same plug but different colors. The listing stated that colors would be random. OK I plug it in, red side to riser board, black side to GPU. - Power on.
- System immediately turns off.
- I only had 1 PSU plugged in and it was blinking orange, I thought I drew too much so I plugged in
