Medion LCD - no sound - Bad cap?

    Hi there,

A friend of mine got a problem with a medion lcd (type md 30178).

There is no sound. Sometimes, if the tv runs a few hours, the sound appears.
If i connect headfones to the tv, the sound works everytime.

I looked inside and found this cap (1500uF /25 V). It is located next to a TDA8933t (Class-D audio amplifier).

What do you mean, will the sound come back after the change of that cap?

    Greetings
