Toshiba 46XV640UZ keep blowing the fuse

Hi I need some help with my Toshiba TV model# 46XV640UZ it had a power surge and after that it keeps on blowing the fuse on the power supply every time I replace it and plugged the power cord in to a outlet, I disconnected all the other board /cables from it and it still blow the fuse.

If you have a multimeter, can you please check the diodes and the bridge rectifier for short circuits? A power surge could blow these parts. If these pass the test, next check the transistors mounted on heatsinks. You can find videos on YouTube about how exactly to test the components. Let us know of your findings.

Hi thanks for responding I found couple diodes d901 have voltage in both direction, b801 and tvs1 had 0 volts in both direction.

"tvs1 had 0 volts in both direction" Do you mean 0 ohm on this TVS (surge protection Diode)? That TVS can be removed, it is not needed for the TV to work.

where do I get replacement diodes from and what value do I need to get.

Remove that TVS and check its resistance, it will be showing very low resistance if it is bad, if it is good, it will show open circuit. You can leave it out and the TV should power up OK if nothing else is damaged.
Can you read the number as printed on it?
