I have opened the tv up and saw a swollen cap and a shorted diode. Diode model is SR315A. Could not find much about it but I saw somewhere it reads 3A, 100V so I replaced it with diode 1N5401 (3A, 100v), but still same blinking red light. Cap was a 68uf, 200v. Replaced with 68uf, 250v.
Would anyone of the above still cause the blinking red light?
