    Samsung UA40C6900 not starting

    Hi all, I have a Samsung UA40C6900 tv. The problem with the tv is it keeps trying to power on repeatedly. I can hear the chime and for few seconds it shows distorted picture then again shuts down. Please see the attached pics of the tv. I am dealing for the first time with an LED slim tv so don't know what would be the correct reading on SMPS output. Here are the readings:
    Pin Marked Measured
    1 12V 12.19V
    2 NC 5.25V
    3 12V 12.19V
    4 BL_ON 12mV---> 4.86V
    5 12V 12.78V
    6 P_DIM 245mV---> 1.49V
    7 GND
    8 H_SYN 245mV---> 1.6V
    9 GND
    10 GND
    11 5.3V 5.24V
    12 GND
    13 5.3V 5.24V
    14 5.3V 5.24V
    15 Vamp 17.75V---> 19.02V
    16 STBY 5.25V
    17 Vamp 17.80V---> 19.05
    18 PS_ON 3.24V

    By looking at the picture I suspected TCON board but even after disconnecting the TCON the TV keeps cycling the boot process. I can also see the backlit coming on and off. So the problem can be in the main board?? Not sure ? I also tried disconnecting, cleaning and reconnecting the cables connecting TCON and screen but that didn't made any difference. Please suggest. Thanks.

          That cetianly looks to be a mainboard issue. Try some freeze spray on the main processor while on.
          Did I leave the soldering iron on?

              for all Samsung lcd and led tv,it is easy to know if the issue is the main board or the power board.Simply disconnect the cable from the main board,to the power board and plug in the tv to AC.If the led's or lamps lit on the problem might be on the Main Board.In you case,it looks like a Main Board . Have you tried a RESET from the service menĂº??if you have the chance do it..Best of Luck..
