Hello, I have this samsung ln40a750r1f, powers on , no backlight can hear the samsung chime when turned on,, no visual sign of bad caps, would really like to get this tv working, thanks in advance

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving ! Any help would be great! on this Samsung LN40A750R1FXZA would be awesome ! i single it out to a mainboard problem after switch psu with new one, does anybody know the componet that fails on these Samsung LN40A750R1FXZA Main Board BN94-01708U , i wanna fix this and dont have alot money to replace the whole board , it gets the samsung melody just no picture, black , back light are not coming on thank! in advance

Hi tom66 comes to find out it was the cable that turns on the inverters i pulled it half way off tv comes on, Thanks for making me look there i would of never found it, !!!

only thing now i got to figure out how to fix the cable connection, i clip it tv goes off pull cable out half way out tv comes on lol

Is it the connector or a bad solder joint?

"only thing now i got to figure out how to fix the cable connection, i clip it tv goes off pull cable out half way out tv comes on lol" It sounds to me like the INV_ON pin has the pull-up resistor and it is being pulled low by the main board so when it disconnected, the backlights come on. I cannot tell for sure until I get the board (power supply/inverter) model numbers and pictures.
