Philips 19PFL5522D/05 LCD TV with CapXon KF series capacitors on Delta power board

The television picture suffers from colour and definition deterioration (dithering effect) after about a minute of being turned on. With a green tinge to everything, especially noticeable on blacks.

I found three CapXon capacitors on the Delta branded power circuit board with slightly bulging vents. Position 1 had a small yellow crusty deposit at the vent apex that fell off when touched, and position 2 left hand has a small black deposit underneath the vent casing apex slit.

Before I spend money on ordering replacement capacitors I wanted to check if they are the likely cause for picture deterioration? Or if problem is attributed to something more serious.

Details for three CapXon KF range capacitors.
    16mm tall by 10mm wide. 5mm spacing.
    1 - 1000uF 10V KF105ºC P723 VENT
    2 - 1000uF 16V KF105ºC P727 VENT

I was going to order from CPC as they have free postage, but open to recommendations for other UK suppliers if they carry more suitable stock.

    Planned replacement parts (differing series):
    1 - Panasonic FC series 1000uF 10V 16x10mm EEUFC1A102
    2 - Panasonic FK series 1000uF 16V 16x10mm EEUFK1C102

Now I'm not sure if preferable to use the same series for all positions in picture, but CPC only carry the Pansonic FC series in the matching dimensions for 10V. If it is advisable to use to the same series/model line in all the positions I will look elsewhere.

Which would be considered the best series/model line to use if I could find a complete set at another supplier?

    Thanks in advance.

I think it would fix the problem. And Panasonic FC is a great choice to replace CapXon KF. Replace them all though, not just the visibly bad ones. CapXon is an extremely unreliable company, and they will likely all fail eventually. Especially in a warm TV

Going to have to use a different retailer and pay postage. One upside is a larger inventory choice. So now considering Panasonic FR range if that would be a better series to use?

The FR range has about half the impedance value, and a higher ripple value (not sure if lower or higher number preferable). Also get increased life expectancy.

FR would work. The ESR is pretty low but I think it will be fine

Got around to replacing the bulging capacitors. Also replaced the two normal looking 1000uF 10V.

Unfortunately it hasn't made a different to the picture so I'm cutting my losses.

Won't be winning any soldering contest on my first attempt.
