Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice regarding the tv noted above. The tv has been taking progressively longer to start up, and the power up cycling has started to take longer and longer (which fits the description of failing capacitors), but is now accompanied by random screen distortions and an occasional loud, high pitched screetching noise.
Here's a video of the exact problem I found (and luckily the exact same tv model) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5cwn_JfW-0
I was hoping this would just be a typical Samsung powerboard 'bad capacitor' repair, but the problem seems to be a little different than the other Samsung models experience.
Any ideas of where I should start?
