Finally got the right part and had a chance to tinker.

T-con fixed it, everything is back to normal.

If the picture was not black & white but more of darks were green..... would that still be this same chip t-con board issue or a main board? Thanks

bump... having the darks turn a green color... would this be that tcon board chip issue or a main board? thanks

Can you provide the screen shot of the pictures of the screen? Pictures of the back side of the TV and the T-CON board?
