    TC-P50G10 No display.. No code?

We had a lightning strike close to our house. (Old house no ground circuit for protector) relay clicks, all fuses good on K board (the light bulb does not come on?), power button seems to work like normal, no flashing of led but when screen powers up there is no display. I dont believe it registers the remote either.

    Please advise!

oh and this model has heat sinks on all the IC so cannot tell if anything is blown. Everything else looks visually ok.

What light bulb are you referring to?

K board, just to the right of the 120v in connector. Didnt look too close but appeared to be a light bulb soldered into the board. Due to location seemed like it was a power indicator? Could be wrong

Anyone? I've searched but cannot find anything regarding issues without led codes.

That is the surge suppressor neon tube - like lightning in a bulb - it's not supposed to light up.

Do the fans ever spin up?

Fans do not kick on. There is a green led on the F board that lights up. Is there a manual or something that will tell me how to test each board with a multi-meter? The onr I found centers around error codes from the power led. Due to no code, I suspect the board with this logic is fried?

Also, the only thing hooked to the tv at the time were HDMI's. Could it be possible the surge came in via hdmi and fried the input board that way?
