      Like Tom mentioned, you most likely are going to have to change both the Y-main and X-main at the same time. A faulty Y-main can kill an X-main and vice versa in these newer Samsung TVs. Attempting to repair the Y-main or X-main in these thin Samsungs is not usually a good idea.

      When your replacement boards arrive, hook EVERYTHING UP AT ONCE then turn on the TV. I'd probably even consider buying a new Y-buffer to be safe, but they don't fail often.

        I'd personally avoid buying a Y-buffer unless you absolutely have to, because these new Samsung panels tend to kill them when they get smashed (and 99% of eBay parts are pulls from smashed panels.)

          Hello, so now I have a new y buffer installed and the TV also goes to, but now he has such visual fault, what can be wrong?

            What does it look like if you show a normal image?

                Try with your original buffer.
                If that is still bad, you need to check the VSCAN, VE, VS and VA voltages. VSCAN is most likely to cause this.
                Could also need Yrr/Yfr tweak if new Y-main.

                  One thing is certain, the buffer ribbons are not seated correctly seeing those thin black lines

                    Die Buffer Ribbon stecken richtig, und wie kann ich den Vscan Ă¼berprĂ¼fen? mit dem Alten buffer bekommeich leider kein bild nur fĂ¼r 1 sekunde

                      [QUOTE = Gilera001; 360998] The buffer Ribbon stuck properly, and how can I check the Vscan? bekomm calibrated with the old buffer unfortunately no picture for 1 second [/ QUOTE

                      Well with my eyes i see thin black lines running full width and usually that's an indication of misaligned panel ribbons on the Ybuffer. Otherwise a bad ybuffer

                        I have new photos taken maybe it is better to see the buffer ribbon are all correct

                          No lines now, they were pretty obvious before in the previous photos.

                          In which case Toms suggestion, measure all the voltages. maybe the Ymain has also been damaged by the bad buffer board?

                          i don't have a manual but next to the white trimmer pot VR5501 VR-FR there should be a pad labelled VSC.

                          Something I found.

                          If Vsc is low or missing and Vs was OK, the failure is with the Y-Board since the Y-Board generate the Vsc voltage from the Vs supplied by the SMPS. If Ve is low or missing and Vs is OK, the failure is with the X-Board since the Ve is generated by the X-Board from the Vs supplied by the SMPS. Please note in some rare cases the Ve may be generated by the Y-Board feed to the X-Board.)

                            Thanks for the help I have measured all points
                            VA = 53.8
                            VS = 203
                            VSC 176
                            VE= 72

                            is the x-value is the main defect or ok?

                              Can you see a point for 2Ve or Ve2?

                              Looks like your Vs and Va are a little low -- I would increase them to match the sticker ratings. Never go beyond 55V on Va.

                              See if there is an adjustment for Ve if so put it at the rated voltage.

                              You may want to increase Vsc (make it more negative) and see if Ve follows (on some panels there is no Ve adjustment and it's based off -Vsc.) Try around -185V for Vsc, and see if artefacts are reduced.

                                I don't know what to make of it, it does seem very localised and running vertically the full height of the panel.

                                Ve & 2Ve, I have not seen that before on a label either.

                                  There's a chance the connector on that part of the panel is dirty/loose.

                                      Along the bottom of the plasma screen, you've got a row of connections, probably around 12 or 15.

                                      The power to the TV must be off.
                                      Unplug each connector. Be careful not to damage the latch on the C board.
                                      Plug each connector back in again, making sure it is securely seated.
                                      Power the TV back on again and inspect for problems.

                                        have a picture, and there are only green stripes vertical, so that you can assign to the problem better
