Re: Samsung TV 5 blinking lights

So the probability of it being a problem with my tcon is very likely?

I'm not certain it's t-con, I would think main board.

We should have a sticky that says - Unless you have a voltmeter, do not open your TV

Good luck with the repairs. Hope you get lucky and get a competent shop. Many aren't.

Re: Samsung TV 5 blinking lights

I spoke to a repair man over the phone and he said it sounds like a main board problem also. He said since he hard time looking for a main board at the places he usually finds things, that its most likely the problem. Im taking it to him tuesday and he said it should cost $150 to fix, so im going to try and do that. Only $25 to look at it and figure out the problem.

Any photo's of your boards. Any voltage readings from the connectors to the main board?

You would be better off starting a new thread since this thread deals with a different model

I have a similar issue. 5 blinks on my Samsung 55" then the screen is black (very dark navy blue) with no sound. The backlights are on since I can see them with the back cover off. There are no images in the screen even when I use the flashlight test. I've even changed the T Com, Power & Main boards with no luck. Not sure what else it could be?? Any help is appreciated.
                      Thanks

Are you sure there's suppose to be a F2, most tcons have one fuse.

I'm not! maybe that's it. I see F1 with a fuse and F3 empty, maybe there is no F2. I was not able to find a diagram for it.

Tv power light just blink 5 times and screen stays blank, there is no backlight or image. I replaced power support supply and same issue exists.
