Samsung Ln T5265F color cycling upon startup

First off, I'd like to introduce myself since this is my first post. My name is Thomas and I currently attend college. I found this website via a google search and it seems like this is what I was looking for! This forum seems to have a lot of intelligent posters, and I hope to learn from you all.

So this is why I ended up here. My friend's parents recently bought a new TV because their old one "broke".... It's a 52" Samsung LCD TV, model Ln T5265F. They were just going to throw it out on the street in the rain! I think this is fixable, and I'm looking for some insight. I have repaired a plasma tv before, so I have a little know how but am far from an expert.

Here's the problem. When I turn on the TV it cycles through colors. First the screen is green, then fades to blue, then to red, then to a few colored bars.... then back to green...

Here is a video I took here. Sorry for the shakiness, I currently have six stitches in my right thumb (dominant hand) so things are a little difficult

Any ideas as to what's going on here? I'm going to guess the logic board has failed.... but I'm not positive.

Any insight or information would be greatly appreciated, as I want to get this thing fixed for the final round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!!

    Thanks!

To me, it looks like it's stuck in factory test mode.

Try pressing EXIT on the remote while it is running? Lol, that would make for an easy fix.

If not, try putting TV in standby, then pressing MUTE - 1 - 8 - 2 - POWER. Does the service menu appear?

Nothing happens when pressing exit. I tried mute-1-8-2-power and no service menu came up. It turned on and started cycling again

OK, can you take the back cover off and take pictures of the chassis, and one of each major board?

Alright, here's an album. (sorry the pictures are sideways)

Let me know if I need to take those covers off those side components.

Thanks for your help so far Tom!

Can you zoom in closer to the main board? This is the board with the video inputs on it.

Are there a couple cables unplugged on the corner of the board and did you unplug them? It certainly looks like they are disconnected.
