Nothing happens when pressing exit. I tried mute-1-8-2-power and no service menu came up. It turned on and started cycling again...

First off, I'd like to introduce myself since this is my first post. My name is Thomas and I currently attend college. I found this website via a google search and it seems like this is what I was looking for! This forum seems to have a lot of intelligent posters, and I hope to learn from you all.


So this is why I ended up here. My friend's parents recently bought a new TV because their old one "broke".... It's a 52" Samsung LCD TV, model Ln T5265F. They were just going to throw it out on the street in the rain! I think this is fixable, and I'm looking for...
