The connector is still loose then, the only way to fix this would be to ask the seller to exchange the control board.

Hi Tom, I was going through your wonderful plasma troubleshooting today, I note one thing there and thus the issue of sound. When I was removing the parts I replaced and putting back the old original ones, original logic board, PSU, and the Z-sustain board, I heard the welcoming sound from the TV but no picture; it could just flip as if the picture could show up but it fails. The other thing is when I disconnect the main connector between the PSU and Y sustain board, there is no sound, not even flipping. Any idea sir?

I'm not sure what you mean. Flashing? Have you fixed the loose connector yet?

I tried to fiddle around but still giving the same probs, so I just put back the same old one. What I mean is that the screen brightens as if it could turn on but it fails.
                Thanks

If the symptoms are different, it must be the control board at fault.

Use the LJ9x-xxxxxx number on the board and order on eBay, flattvparts, etc.

Hi Tom, I tried to google the company but the parts are out of stock. If there is another one please let me know. Also the word flashing I meant blinking.
                        Thanks once again.

Therefore, I suggest when (not if) it fails, you take the cover off, and start heating parts of the power supply and main board. You can use a household hairdryer for this. If this makes it work, you have found the part which is faulty, and you can replace it or narrow in on the individual components. Main board failure is most common on these models.

                              Hi Tom and all members,
I think today I have identified the problem of my plasma. After battling all these days with my TV, today I tried to go by Tom's idea to heat the logic or X board, and then BOOM the TV turned on. I observed it by leaving it for some time. Then it turned itself off. I tried to switch it on without heating the logic board, it couldn't turn on. I heated the logic board again (all this time using the hair blower), then it turned on. I then plugged in all cords (sound, sky etc), and the TV is working normally.
So, to conclude that the logic board is fault and need replacement, could it be wrong? Please advise me.
Thanks Tom for you advice of heating components.

Yes, that is where I would be focusing on. Do double check all connectors are seated properly.
