samsung hlp4663wx/xaa color wheel

I have a samsung hlp4663wx/xaa, when turned on there is a loud humming noise and vibrations from the tv during the loud humming. I read online that this means you have to replace the color wheel, now that costs about $100. Is there any other problem that would cause this, and is there any way to fix the color wheel without replacing it.

P.S It does display video on the screen just fine.

there is also the fan which is used for lamp cooling but,that lamp fan if failing would not cause the excessive vibration to cabinet,depending on the dlp generation you have color wheel rpm is at either 3600 rpm or now what some dlp have 2x or even 3x that speed, when they start fail it will produce at times vary annoying squeals and vibrations sometime with much wobble that it can show up in quality of picture.After color wheel replacement some electrical alignment must be checked and performed,attached are couple aids to help

After about 1 minute of startup my tv shuts itself down blinking lamp on the power indicator, is there a way i could just be able to fix the motor?

There's no fix to the motor,If your color wheel is the problem with your set,I would recommend you to replace the color wheel using original Samsung replacement part

thank you for you advace, ill think about replacing the part or just giving it back to the dump
