That's most likely your problem. Now I believe that panel is manufactured by Panasonic if I'm not mistaken.
You are correct sir it has Panisonic stickers all on the inside of it !!
My wife asked me "why does a Sanyo TV have Panisonic parts inside"? I said honey it is just like politics dear..& how the Republicans & Democrats want everyone to think they are completely different entities, yet on the inside & behind closed doors they are all the same , they are all in bed together.
                Thanks for the reply

Wow thanks man, but i don't think it will bro I stopped counting at 65 pins and still had a ¼ of it to go.

Re: Sanyo DP50749 Plasma No picture

For future ref, the easy way to find out how many pins is look at the connector as the first and last pins are often labelled. So an inspection of the C boards shows 55.

Also, find the board number then drop the suffix, search that and you find TH-50PH12U uses the same c boards.

You now have an alternate path with which to find that ribbon.

                        you then search a manual

Identify the connectors, you find c22-c32.

you search C22 or C32 in the parts list

                        you find CABLE (C22-C32) = TSXL737

you go to Encompass https://www.encompassparts.com and enter that part number

                        you find

                        In stock for $4.68

You also discover it's used in all these, more opportunities LOL

Schematic or datasheet for Plasma TV buffer chip
                                  by Yanleb
                                  Hi all,

I'm interested in understanding how a buffer board chip is working. I know there's about 90 outputs per chip to the plasma panel, but I'm more interested to know about the input pins. I guess that some of them are address pins, but I want to know more.

So far I've found nothing at all. I haven't found any datasheet about the various buffer chips, and I haven't found any schematic for the buffer board using them (Y Buffer Board in Samsung's terminology).

Any information will make me happy. It can be from any buffer chip or plasma TV manufacturer....

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                                  • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                                  • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Saved this beast from the landfill this weekend.
                                  Manfactured July 2013 in Mexico.

I love working on plasma TVs.
Its been a while but I was lucky enough to find 2 this week.

The TV powers on and stays on but no picture. Havent checked for sound yet.
No bulging caps although the insides are pretty dusty and the boards are discolored from many years of high heat.
                                  Will start troubleshooting tonight.

Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                                  Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                                  First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                  Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...
