Re: Tv brand onei standby fault
Most likely Vestel. Flashing blue light is defective PSU. PSUs are available for £20 or you can fix it for £5 in parts usually. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Tv brand onei standby fault
Flashing power light -- two shorted diodes usually on this model. Check them and replace them if they are shorted. Pictures & I'll even highlight them for you. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Tv brand onei standby fault
OK much better, I've highlighted all the diodes.
To test the ones on the heatsink: Middle pin to each outer pin should show 150~700 one way and infinite ("1" or "OL") the other way.
To test the free standing one: Test it both ways and you should get 150~700 one way and infinite ("1" or "OL") the other way.
All tests done on diode mode. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

by truztruzHello to all,
I'm trying to repair a TV model "BLAUPUNKT" 32 / 122I-GB-5B-HBKU-EU with mainboard TP.MSD309.BP75.
Red standby is present.
By pressing the power button, the blue led lights up for several seconds (about 6 seconds) but no sign of TV life (no backlight and no video signal on the panel (verified with a flashlight)
The LED then returns to red and then returns to blue and so on (the flashing is not fast, but as mentioned, several seconds pass between red and blue)
I measured the voltage on the main output... -
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -

by Stanley1843Hello,
has anyone use these Brands of solder balls? The brand BEST writes on the label of the jar the specs of the solder balls instead of the Mechanic brand. I beleive that BEST brand must be more professional (in labeling at least) but I have never try one of them so I would like your opinion. By the way I hardly can I find the Mechanic brand in aliexpress (the only where I found was lead free solder balls) and on ebay these that I found are approximately15USD per jar. If you know any other trusted brand of solder balls please tell me.06-22-2024, 11:06 AM - Loading...
