    Weird Multicolor verticle lines

These weird lines come on my tv once in a while. When I turn the TV off and back on they go away. I noticed it only comes on when I'm playing my PS3.

Should I return this set and get a new one? I bought it a week ago...

Yes! I would return it. Samsung poor quality usually doesn't rear it's head this early though. (My opinion of Samsung is... poor, given that I have repaired so many. I would suggest you look for another manufacturer if you get a replacement. Like Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic and sometimes LG.)

I guess this is an LED TV by the bezel and stand?

      Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
      by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

      Hi all!

The TV does not turn on, the standby indicator is on. All voltages are present.
Emms is dead. Not readable, not detected.
      Replaced emmc.

      samsung ue46c6000 weird alternating lines
      by Mohammed Mecegguem
      Hello,

I encountered an issue with my TV long before noticing a pattern of alternating red lines. Initially, I replaced the T-Con board, but the problem persisted. After a year, I decided to open the TV again and found some oil leaks around the CPU, RAMs, and LVDS FPC connector, likely from the thermal pads. I reconnected the LVDS connector but still faced the same issue with the alternating lines.

At first, I thought the LVDS cable might be loose. I inspected the cable, found no damage, cleaned the connector, and reconnected it, but the issue remained. This led me to...

Verticle lines on Samsung PN42A400 Plasma TV
      by xNOTx
Hello 👋 I have a tv with these red lines. I've tried cleaning and re-seating the ribbon cables but no luck! Tried all 4 on the LJ92-01485 board and on the bottom of the panel. Do you guys think it's the board?|

      Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
      by jeyoung12
      Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
