    LCD19DVDID-107-Channel stuck when left

    Hey guys I have this
    Technika LCD19DVDID-107

When you start it up you can channel hop, but it does start to get sluggish.

If you leave it on a channel and come back 5 minutes later its locked on that channel and you cannot change with either the remote or panel buttons.

I opened it up, power supply seems ok although it had a bulging cap on the secondary side. I replaced that, and esr checked the cap it was faulty.

Now this problem goes away if you turn off then back on. You can turn to standby from remote or panel.

Unplug the button board and see if it then works well with remote.

Hi tom66 thanks for your response. I have just tested this to no change.

Whats strange is that the - stby, vol+, vol- and menu buttons all work when the ch+/ch- stops. On both the remote and the panel board.

Look like its going to be a long one. I'm guessing that a capacitor on the line for ch+/- is going down once its filled? sound likely?

Shame I have no schematic things are much easier then.

No, I would doubt it's a capacitor. It's probably got some corruption in the channel table that it doesn't like. Do you know who makes this set, any part number on the main boards? I can look up how to reset it to factory settings.

          Okay tom66

          Power supply has:
          ACP007-G

          Mainboard has:
          plv3619d-01-03

          No obvious manufacturer marks

Hi tom66, yeah ok no worries. I will have a good look over the board to see if there are any other markings. Thanks for your efforts

HH Scott Model A510 Stereo Integrated Amplifier/ Graphic EQ - Blowing fuses in the LEFT speaker channel only. Any Help???
                      by Sik_6ty_Sixx
So like the title says, I have an old Stereo Receiver/Amplifier that I picked up from the goodwill, it's a HH Scott Model A510. When I first got it home it had zero output. Opened it up, notice the fuses are missing. Pop in 2 new fuses (AGC4A 250V) and try again, within 5 seconds the L channel fuse POP! I don't see any visible indications of damage or arc burns on the PCB, no popped resistors or diodes, no burnt traces or blown out caps. So I decide to just try another new fuse, POP. Swapped around my R and L speaker wires, and checked the integrity of all wires and connections. Everything looks...

                      Hello,

I know some might say... just buy another one. Sell it as parts..!

So had this AMP for quite some time. Recently I saw light smoke coming out of the AMP. Had my fire extinguisher close by. Just kidding. Turned immediately all devices off from mains.
Let things cool a bit, and opened up the amp device. I clearly saw on the main board which hosts the 5X amp (5.1), 3 10 ohms 1W resistors had their leads looking black, while the rest of the remaining 2 x 10 ohms were brownish as being installed from factory.

Spent some time downloading the Service...

Yamaha XP7000 Crackling in left channel
                      by xfreakx
                      Hi guys,

I have a problem with the power amplifier Yamaha XP700, I hope someone can help or point me in a direction.

The amp started occasionally to crackle in the left channel which in a short time period got more frequent and after a while the crackling occurred instantly on power on.
While checking for loose connections the amp's protection kicked in and turned the amp off. From then the protection turned the amp off in between 1 - 5 seconds after power on.

I switched the mono blocks for a test to make sure the error is in the block itself...

DeLonghi AC Remote only accepts 3V
                      by cstout
Hello all, I've been looking into this portable air conditioner's remote control and can't find what could be causing the problem - or possibly this remote is just terribly designed.

The remote only works at exactly 3V - if I drop it any lower, using my bench power supply, to say, 2.9V then the remote will not flash the display and turn off. I don't have any AAA batteries that are exactly 1.5V each so I'm not sure if this remote is designed this way - to only use the freshest possible batteries, or if there's a failed component in the mix.

                      I can't find any schematics...
