Insignia NS-LCD32

Hello, this is my first post. I have an Insignia 32" LCD that wont produce a picture. I have absolutely zero experience with electronics though I am decent at turning a light on and off periodically if it has a switch on the wall. I have scoured the web for the last two days to see if I can find the solution to my problem. I figured if I could maybe figure out what was going on then it must be a simple, cheap fix and I might go ahead and try, but reading about capacitors, inverter boards and smd fuses has pushed me to the limit. Here are a couple pictures of the power supply board. No sun yet so I used a flashlight. Anyone let me know if you want a super-detailed shot of any area or component.
Being a noob, all I can do is look and listen. That has yielded some results. There is an "Insignia" emblem along the bottom that produces 2 different colours depending on whether it is on or off. When it is off it is red. When I turn it on it should be blue, but it is not. If I place my ear close to the power supply board I can hear a faint "ticking". Once in a while the blue led light will come on (if I just leave it powered "on") and the "ticking" stops, but no back light or picture. After about a minute the blue led turns off (not back to red, just off) and the "ticking" resumes. I looked for bad capacitors, but none are bulging or rounded at the top. There are two places where there is some "browning" on the board itself. Basically, I would appreciate a preliminary exam from some of you guys who are experts compared to me just to see if it is even worth tinkering with. One of you might realise that it is a piece of garbage and I should just toss it, all the while I am wasting my time Sorry to rush right into this with a first post, but it has been on my mind and I would like to get something resolved even if it is just throwing it out. Thanks.

Edit: The model is NS-32LCD, not LCD32. And the back light came on for about 3 seconds and some message displayed across the screen. Something like "No signal". Then it disappeared.

Well, for some reason I cannot edit the post, but I just wanted to say that I read this WHOLE thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ignia+ns-lcd32
and it came down to one small capacitor next to the big one. I took a blow dryer to it for about a minute and it did the trick. It came right on like nothing was wrong with it. There are a couple of blemishes at the top of the screen so I don't know if I really want to spend time on it or any money. So, I solved my own problem. Good site, wouldn't have figured it out without that thread. Thanks.

Well, I just picked up the NS-32LCD a few days ago. Same symptoms: power on but no screen. It seems they tried to fix it but were unsuccessful and decided to toss it. They replaced a few of the caps with some weird brands and seems to be in spec. I was lucky to have a 47uf in my parts bin which did the trick. Screen fired up nicely.

My ns-lcd32 died. It made a loud clicking sound three times, and shut off. Now only green light comes on. no pic no sound.

Test the Powerbard:
My Power board does not read anything. None of the terminals marked 12v 24v had any voltage, even after i jumped the 5v with the ON terminal.
The odd thing is that the 5v reads 5.27v with my meter, but only when tv is off. When it is on, it doesnt really register a volt. My green led light does still come on, but that is about all that it does.

q: do i have to replace ALL the caps, or is there one in particular that I should replace??

Or is it the inverter? I tried all the tricks. My inverter board isnt getting any volaage from the power board.
