My ns-lcd32 died. It made a loud clicking sound three times, and shut off. Now only green light comes on. no pic no sound.
Test the Powerbard:
My Power board does not read anything. None of the terminals marked 12v 24v had any voltage, even after i jumped the 5v with the ON terminal.
The odd thing is that the 5v reads 5.27v with my meter, but only when tv is off. When it is on, it doesnt really register a volt. My green led light does still come on, but that is about all that it does.
q: do i have to replace ALL...

DId anyone find a solution? My NS-LCD32 shut off suddenly. When I press the power button, only the green light comes on. no sound. no pic. I cannot figure it out. I want to test the PS but not sure what to test. Any pointers?Leave a comment:

Question.. on both of my 1117 2.5 and 3.3, the middle prong is shorter than the outer 2. And I notice that there are 1117 with all 3 prongs the same size. I'm very confused on which one to get.Leave a comment:

Yes. My 1117 2.5sj is reading 1.5 and not 2.5 So I assume it's bad. The 3.3 tested fine.
So, if you have a specific brand, I would like for you to share it with me.
Otherwise I need to know:
1 Input Max Voltage:
2. Output Voltage
3. Dropout Voltage (Max)
4. Output Current
5.Load Regulation
6. Output Type " Fixed or adjustible?
7. Maximum Operating Temperature

I have the same issue. There are many types of 1117 2.5 and 1117 3.3 out there.. So which one should I get? What are the specs? I normally use ebay or mouser (Not affiliated).. But there are many different types. Which ones do I get?? Please advise.

Ok.. I just picked NS LCD32 lcd for repair.. the 1117 2.5 was reading 1.5v and 4.9v. I got one red line down the middle sometimes 2. So, my question is, which 1117 2.5 do i get for a replacement?
