Possible Magnavox 32md357b/37e purchase

The owner says the picture looks perfect when it turns on,
but that it only stays on for 15 seconds, and then shuts
off by itself.

Sounds like a power supply bad caps problem to me.

This model has a built-in DVD player. 32" screen.

How much would you all offer for this one?

So by this you mean the inverter itself shuts down,
NOT the +24V coming from the power supply, right?

What would cause the inverter to shut down in 15
seconds like this? I would guess an overheating
issue would take a bit longer.

Over-current protection scheme?

Would it be an easy and cheap fix?

No idea, and no idea. Sorry. Never encountered it myself.
