I have just repaired (replaced the Zsus board) a plasma set and have full function. Only remaining issue is an unusually loud transformer. It actually clicks rather than usual hum. The lacquer on the side of the transformer is visually cracking and partially removed. Read one posting that said I could put a little super glue over it and remedy to nosie.
Is there a better solution?
Am I correct in that the clicking noise is owing to the laminated metal chassis is splitting apart, or is it related to the windings moving at 60 hz?
