    Pioneer PDP-433MXE shut down

Extremely nice built, robust chassis, nothing close to what I've seen before.
But unfortunately it's not working (why else should I see it)
From the front led I get a blinking code that means: (8 green flashes)
Digital communication with RGB board shorted or open.
    Servicemanual available on Elektrotanya.
This set has outstanding failure detection and a brilliant service manual. These guys knows what they're doing.
Set starts up, showing only SHUT DOWN in the middle of the screen for 30 seconds then off.
The digital boards seems *very* complex and it might be a hell to find what's cauing the communcation corruption.
Tom66, I read that you aswell have a Pioneer patient at your place

    Hi all

Customer shipped this amp over & then connected to UK mains.

As well as PSU , damage spread to digital board & killed the MCU .

Any ideas , or a contact for spares ?...

Pioneer PL-X9 motor speed control wobble
    by Bushcat
I'm starting to re-cap a Pioneer PL-X9 turntable, specifically the motor control board, because although everything tests out OK according to the service manual, the speed wavers slightly despite the quartz lock light remaining on. So, I've decided to re-cap that board since it's the cheapest next step...

Pioneer's passive component naming convention is clear to me. For example, CSZA R22M 35 is tantalum, radial leads, 0.22uF, 20%, 35V.

BUT there are two capacitors on the board which have actual Pioneer part numbers: PCL-042. I can tell they are 0.1uF, 16V but don't...

[Help Needed] Yatour YT-M06 (Pioneer 1) – Firmware or Schematic Request
    by EduCabral
    Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on reviving a Yatour YT-M06 CD Changer Emulator module for use with a Pioneer 1 interface (specifically with a DEH-P5950IB head unit).

While the unit is recognized as a CD changer, none of the USB, SD, or AUX features respond, which leads me to believe the firmware may be corrupted or incompatible.

    🔧 Details:
    • Model: YT-M06
    • Interface: Pioneer 1
    • MCU: Fujitsu MB89F202
    • Goal: Find a valid .bin firmware file or memory dump from a working unit

I'm happy to attempt flashing, analyzing memory dumps, or doing hardware-level...

Running out of Ideas, hoping someone smart can provide some for my ONKYO TX-SR353 Receiver
    by CDNBrewer
    Hello Everyone,

I have an Onkyo TX-SR353 Audio/Video Receiver (5.1 ch with HDMI) that I am having a really hard time diagnosing and I'm about to throw this in the junk and go buy a new unit that is on sale until the 7th.

    Symptoms:
    • Intermittent (part of the reason why i'm having a hard time isolating problem), sometimes will work for 10+h at a time without issue
    • Original symptom was wife reported loud banging noise (like someone was banging on the wall with their fists) from the LEFT SURROUND speaker and then the unit shut off.
    • I swapped the Left and Right surround
