    OK, so you are not getting standby 5V?
    Can you please also take the pictures with better focus, it will make it easier to trace and point things out, thanks.

      Please bear with me. I am not too good on the computer. I just now realized that I have to look to the 2nd page and, just figured out how to turn to page 2 of this message. sorry

        Pictures are really out of focus, please sample on post 1 and 3. Your board is not the same as the original poster, for me to give you the test points, I must be able to see the components and traces on the board clearly so I can figure out how they are hooked up together, it is very hard right now the way it is since I do not have the board in front of me to see.

          Re: Sanyo DP46849 No Image

          Thanks for posting the LCD and Monitor guide! Given I am seeing (on a Sanyo PS board) the PS_On drop out after 5s off commanding power on...I think it is a load issue. Just wasn't sure these things employed such sensing. (And I am not familiar with Line-Off either.)

          Worked on ATX power supplies for years ( a while back)...and boy don't I know the caps and diodes are the most common problems!

            Another Sanyo DP46849, my Green Stays on, picture comes up for a second or 5 then goes out, green light doesn't flash, it stays on steady. For a while multiple on offs would get a picture that stayed on for varying lengths of time up to bedtime but no longer. Now it goes out after a very consistent 5 seconds? Football season is 10 days off, wife is getting antsy. I checked all the voltages on the two connectors with green light on, no picture, got what is marked at every terminal. i don't see any suspicious caps but am stump dumb. I have no "dim pic" screen goes completely off. Thanks for any light!

              Full disclosure;
              A few years ago a lightning strike took out 1 of 3 HDMI inputs on this set. all else has functioned fine since. We live on ah ill and do get some near by lightning on a regular basis.

                  With flashlight do you get an image showing on screen. If you look from back do you see backlights on
                  I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

                    No, when the pic goes out, it is totally black.
