1,check voltages from psu and confirm all are what they should be
2,if ok,check to see if t con board is getting power
3,this sounds like a t con issue,getting sound,and back lights working,screams t con board failure
4,check t con board fusesfixed so far...376 lg lcd tv's,24 onn tv;s,24 panasonic lcd,16 jvc lcd,12 marshall jcm800 amps, refurb of various disco equipment lighting, old style disco decks ,and a flymo!

Ok I will download files & check fuses. I have a couple tester but I'm pretty green as far as what to set it on and then what & where to use it. I was hoping it was a come in problem and I could look to you guys to tell me what part to buy. I can handle replacing parts I just don't know how to test.Comment

by droneratHi Guys,
This forum has been in great help to me, but I stumbled upon a strange problem with a salvaged Samsung TV that I am banging my head to troubleshoot.
PSU: L48S6 FHS BN44-00807D
T-Con: BN95-01937A
Panel: CY-GJ048HGLVLH
MB: NA (Currently as the TV is assembled and forgot to take picture)
As I said earlier I have some issues with the TV I got from a friend of mine. The TV had no picture, but sound, back light and everything else was working fine.
It was sent to an authorized service for repairs and returned with the... -
by jchangHi all
I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.
Symptom:
No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
No sound at all.
What I tried:
1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon... -
by kcaHello all ~
I’m working on this Samsung 60” LED and purchased a new main board a couple of days ago that did not fix the 5 blink issue. The original main board’s HDMI ports (all 4 of them) failed to work and no amount of reflow remedied that.
This 5 red light blink code on the front panel LED is followed (about 15-20 seconds afterward) by an automatic reboot, and results in 5 more red light blinks. Then the entire cycle repeats itself indefinitely.
No picture. No sound.
I tested all the voltages coming out of the power supply... -
by mar1inHi everyone,
I've got this Samsung here that would be stuck in a boot loop.
After opening up and doing the tape block method, I was able to get it to turn on and play sound from the HDMI input, but with a blue screen.
Does that mean there is another combination of pins that I need to block in order to get a picture, or is there something more serious, faulty mainboard or faulty panel?
Thanks in advance -
by tennno`Sound no picture RCA LED46C45RQ,Power Supply Board RE46HQ1301.
Has All voltages coming from main board. No voltage going to
Back lights from power board.Have no Schematic.Back lights work when
Led Back light Strip tester is used.Tester shows 110 volts from each
side. Also if you use the side controls and use the vol +or- tv shuts
