I just picked up a 50" plasma for a good price (I hope!). However, when moving it or something, there is now a small chip on the screen. The glass itself is okay, but it looks like there is a plastic coating (polarization?) that is slightly chipped off. Can this be easily fixed? Would something like the Novus TV scratch remover (listed on eBay) work? Or will it not be noticeable when the TV is on?
Also, when I first plugged the TV in, it made a popping noise from the back
, so I may be back to ask for more help.
