Unlike the other post on this model, my screen has not gone completely dead yet, but has severe flickering (large bands of purple, grey and green across screens). Had TV about 2 years and this just started today. From the reviews, it seems to be a very common problem with this model. I have a meter, but was hoping someone out there has seen this before on this model and can direct me towards the most common problem. My bet is on either power supply or main board. I've seen both on Ebay. Anyone seen this before?

by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by reformattJust had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".
It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...07-31-2025, 08:37 PM -
by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... -

by CapacitorialHello guys.
I recently got a TV that has the following problems:- Sometimes it has to be turned on and off a few times, to boot up. Sometimes it starts from the first try
- When it is running normally, the right side of the screen flickers. Sometimes it is just a square of transparent white maybe a 1/3 of the right half (top right)
- The flicker is also sometimes a square that is filled with lines
- I noticed that when the TV brightness is set to max, it flickers less. I think the Standard setting is the worst where it comes more frequent
- When it runs a few minutes it gets better,
